Education Dialogue
The Education Dialogue is a three-hour session woven into the SNAG conference. It gives educators a place to discuss the current issues they’re facing in academia.
Examples of previous year’s content are:
- concrete strategies to strengthen the jewelry/metals programs within the higher education system in a time of widespread budget reductions
- the changing nature of art education in the context of interdisciplinary discourse
- the rapidly evolving digital technologies sweeping the art and design fields
- how the histories of our practices are and can be included in a studio-centered teaching environment
The next Education Dialogue occurs during the SNAG 2011 conference in Seattle, WA, May 26-29.

This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
